Chapter One
A life nearly lost
As a young man, I became involved in gang life and found myself heading down a destructive path. At just sixteen years old, I was shot and nearly lost my life. I spent more than thirty days in the hospital fighting to survive. The bleeding was so severe that doctors packed my body with ice on two separate occasions in an effort to stop it.
By all accounts, I should not be here today.
But God had other plans.
The Lord preserved my life when death seemed certain. Yet physical survival was only the beginning of the miracle.
"Nearly ten years in the bondage of addiction."
Chapter Two
Years of bondage and brokenness
In the years that followed, I battled methamphetamine and other drug addictions for nearly ten years. What began as destructive choices became years of bondage, brokenness, and pain.
I searched for purpose in all the wrong places, but nothing could fill the emptiness in my heart.
"Then Jesus Christ changed everything."
Chapter Three
Jesus Christ changed everything
Through His grace, God delivered me, restored me, and began transforming my life from the inside out. What seemed impossible became possible through the power of Christ.
He healed wounds, broke chains, renewed my mind, and gave me a purpose greater than myself.
"If He could do it for me, He can do it for anyone."
Chapter Four
A purpose greater than myself
Today, I am blessed to be a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, author, and servant of Jesus Christ. I am the founder and pastor of House of Spirit and Truth, where I am committed to teaching God's Word and helping others discover the same freedom, hope, and transformation that I found in Christ.
My story is not about what I have overcome. It is about what Jesus has done.
The same God who spared my life, delivered me from addiction, and transformed my heart is still changing lives today.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
My Mission
To Point People to Jesus Christ
Having experienced God's redeeming power firsthand, I am committed to helping others find the same hope, freedom, healing, and purpose that I found in Christ.
Whether through preaching, teaching, writing, discipleship, community outreach, or personal testimony, my desire is to help others experience the saving grace, healing power, and transforming love of God.
I believe no life is beyond the reach of God's grace. Through Christ, there is hope for the broken, freedom for the bound, healing for the wounded, and purpose for every person willing to follow Him.
